To have the chance, just once to be able to leave the framework of our own organized lives - this is what actress Maria Ehrich and journalist Manuel Vering wish to do. The couple decides to embark on an adventure: a journey without a script. And so, at the beginning of 2018, they fulfil their long-standing desire and set off for seven months. Their road trip in a VW Beetle sees them travel more than 20.000 Kilometers. Their route takes them from Mexico to Newfoundland. It doesn't all go according to plan, but it is this that makes a not so organized trip so worthwhile. Once it is over, both have grown in their new tasks.
