In close cooperation with the customs office, Katrin Koenig and Alexander Bukow arrest a drug courier. In doing so, drugs to the tune of more than 5 million euros are discovered. A great success! The two investigators celebrate a little more than planned later in the evening and Sascha looks a little too deeply into Katrin's eyes. The obligatory hangover lurks. The next day, Martin Angerer, the customs chief, is found brutally murdered. He was investigating the Calabrian mafia, Ndrangheta, for whom Rostock harbour is an important hub in the international drug trade.
