Finn's first case takes him to the Baltic Coast resort of Timmendorfer Strand, where the corpse of Lübeck Marzipan manufacturer Lübbers was found. The indus-trialist suffocated on one of his own Marzipan bars. Finn and his down-to-earth yet somewhat hypochondriac colleague Sandra Schwartenbeck commence their investigations. Lübbers was not exactly very popular and there are therefore quite a few potential suspects, notably, his own sister, Jennifer, who hasn't got a good word to say about him. Her boyfriend, Thies, is an ac-countant in Lübbers' factory and has anything but a good relationship with his future father-in-law. Then there is Lübbers' wife, who knew of his on-going affair with his secretary, as well as Hüpeden, the works manager, who also had a motive for the murder. The only drawback is the fact that all of the aforementioned have an alibi. Finn's first case is turning into quite a puzzling one.
