This assignment really failed big time. An undercover cop - a friend even - and the arms dealer Nicolai Timofejew are both dead. And now Thorsten Falke has to break the bad news to Timofejew's sister Marija. She was his cadet at the police, maybe even a bit more. Marija is ready to help Falke out with all she knows of her family, and Falke prom-ises to trust and support her. He gives his word - but is being called back. Is this because of Julia Grosz was recent-ly promoted and is now ego-tripping? Is she keeping infor-mation from him? Does she think he is too close to the case? And does Falke need to worry more about Marija? Or the other way round, maybe he is a bit too worried already? All in all Falke feels a bit isolated. His son Torben is moving out. And in with his new girlfriend Pina. Not that Thorsten and Torben have much to say to each other. Why not live a little, Falke suggests and gets taunted for it. But he keeps his calm and does not escalate the situation. Fighting with Torben is not helpful and Falke decides to rather support his son. Even though Falke might not be the cool cat of past years, he will always be there to help out
