The reopening of the hotel is almost at hand, but renovations have stalled and the new owners, sisters Mascha Hillinger and Karin Berger need to figure out a few things. The heiresses of the cookie-empire Hillinger had differing opinion on what to do and how to do it. At the hotel, everyone is battling for their positions within the new order: Whereas Karin is ruling with an iron grip and cold calculations, Masha wants to give the place a warm and fuzzy feel. Stefan, the newly appointed director of the house is fearing for his influence and cook Daniela is struggling with the decision to switch to a fully vegan menu. And on top of all this, the house keeping staff are on strike.
