One early morning jogging along the Warnow shore Katrin König sees two men attempting to molest a woman, Nadja Flemming. When König steps in and stops them, the men assault her instead. This is especially hard on König, as she has been struggling and feeling bad ever since Guido Wachs called her. She managed to get him arrested and convicted, but she had to manipulate evidence to do so. Now he is out again and putting pressure on König to help him get back in touch with his wife, or else he will reveal her manipulation. But it gets even worse: Nadja Flemming is found dead at the Warnow, stabbed to death. And then there is Bukow's father, who is pre-paring one last deal to better secure a legacy for his son …
